The camera view below is of 5 little baby bunnies that someone dumped in a greenbelt in Scottsdale AZ. How anyone could look at these tiny little faces and then dump them in a field in 113 degree weather? They are now safe and happy. We have even had binkies and bunny flops. They eat for about 20 minutes and sleep for about 5 minutes and then back to eating again. They seem pretty healthy considering what they have been through.
You may occassionally see a large black labrador in their area, his name is Sanjuro and he is the Bunny Nanny.
Please pass on the word that domestic rabbits can't survive out in the wild. They also can't survive the heat of the Arizona summer where temperatures have been over 110 for the past few weeks. Dumping them in the wild is sentencing them to a painful death. If you have rabbits you can no longer care for bring them to an animal rescue organization, PLEASE don't dump them.
